Claudia's page design is just fabulous with all of those patterned
strips and the fun mix of letters and numbers. The colors look fantastic
against the brown background. She did an awesome job with the CSi
Coordinates. The paint splatters give her page a bit of urban grunge,
and how clever is the bird ribbon, reminiscent of New York's famous
pigeons. We love the edgy artsy feel of Claudia's page!
What a cool, cool page, Claudia! Fantastic design and awesome work with the CSI Coordinates. Love your take on the top ten with all those numbers and captions.

What a great layout! I love how busy it is with the numbers and different letter stickers. The basketweave pattern you created with the strips of paper looks really sharp. I also love that the numbered attractions are not in order but that you have to look here and there for them. Great photos. Neat layout. TFS:)

En este reto prepare la hoja de portada de un nuevo album que estoy haciendo sobre un viaje a NY
What a fun and fabulous layout by Claudia! We fell in love with the
design of this page, and how Claudia has incorporated NYC maps into her
patchwork design. The narrow rectangular photos detailing all the
different sites flow seamlessly through the design. We loved the whimsy
of the circles that flow across the page and how she's tied them up. The
hand-stitching looks fabulous, the little pops of red add excitement
and energy, and we love how she's added a poem to encircle the title.
Claudia has crafted a very creative and energetic page!

And just because there were too many fantastic layouts in the gallery, here are a few more that caught our eye.
Claudia's layout is so creative and full
of sweet details. The photo of her son reading his first book was
perfect for the palette. We absolutely love the letters spilling down
the page and the vellum pocket holding her story. The use of birds to
symbolize her message was a perfect touch, and we love how she's tucked a
few little birds up at the top corner of her photo--such a sweet detail !!
Album Europa

Los separadores tienen una misma linea,simulan un patchwork,tienen una foto central con un marco superpuesto que enmarca algun detalle y el sello de numeros y letras se repite en todo el album para darle unidad.
Las hojas del album tienen 23 x 23 cm,una forma segura de no equivocarse en el ancho y el largo.Cada tanto con una forma divertida y mas chica,como en este caso la casita,se rompe un poco la simetria.
Dos fotos de diferentes lugares,pueden al unirse parecer una foto panoramica,solo hay que unir agua con agua,edificio con edificio.
Las fotos de Venecia de la derecha estan sujetas a la hoja de fondo solo por los costados ,creando asi un bolsillo del que entra y sale la tarjetita.
El sello de numeros da unidad al album.
Debajo de la solapa el texto se lee entero ,en la tapa aparece como fondo.
Los mapas de los folletos son coloridos y faciles de leer,si el color no combina mucho con las fotos,como en este caso,la opcion de taparlo con una solapa es buena.
Las cintas (de la bandera croata) estan pegadas con cinta adhesiva doble faz.
Las mariposas estan cosidas con una linea de bordado a mano.
Sobre el papel de diario transferi mariposas sacadas de la compu y las`pinte con una aguada de acrilico azul.
Botones y puntilla blanca le dan mas luz al diseño.
El marquito de la derecha da trabajo,pero vale la pena,las siluetas de los copos de nieve son un cortante pasado por la Cuttlerbug,se arma el diseño y para darle grosor son varias capas pegadas por delante y por detras,haciendo que coincidan muy bien.
Como las hojas de fondo tiene relieve el texto lo imprimi en una filmina de computacion.
Las fotos de la derecha tambien parecen atarse con el hilo naranja que contrasta con la monocromia de la hoja.
La entrada al museo esta suelta y debajo hay texto.
El arbolito es un recorte de madera con unos toques de acrilico al tono.Esta cosido. (Los adornitos pesados siempre hay que coserlos)
Tres ojales por los que pasa una cinta sirven para sujetar servilletas traidas del viaje.
Las letras negras tienen liquido dimensional.
Las fotos son de tres aeropuertos diferentes.
El sobre adentro tiene el CD con los videos del viaje.
Los sellos de numeros siguen con la unidad del album.
(Las valijas son diseño de Debbie Mumm ,si al imprimirlas en la impresora salen muy suaves,como me paso a mi,se pintan con lapices de colores y de paso los nombres de las etiquetas se cambian de acuerdo a los destinos deseados)
